About the event
Theme: United We Learn: Preparing Kentucky’s Teachers Together
As we navigate a teacher shortage and consider innovative ways to prepare teachers, this year’s theme focuses on the ways in which collaboration can be used to best prepare future teachers to be leaders in their schools and communities. Close collaborations between schools and universities, partnering with the community, using technology to bring together stakeholders, and collaborating to support our teacher-candidates, first year teachers, and each other will guide presentations and discussion. Join us in beautiful northern Kentucky for a day filled with enlightening discussions and conversations.
The committee welcomes proposals for presentations and poster sessions on topics related to university and school/community partnerships, technology used in collaborations, best practices, models of successful collaborations, and other topics related to educating teachers.
Sessions dedicated to student teachers and early career teachers will be part of the conference program.
Second Call Submission Deadline: Submit proposals at https://www.kentuckyate.org by midnight (Eastern) August 27th 2023
